UCLA Health Ambulatory Staff Pharmacist in Los Angeles, California

Under supervision of the Senior Pharmacy Supervisor, you will perform a range of functions that are related to medication profile review, clinical interventions, procurement of medications and transitions of care.
You will:
Help the Senior Pharmacy Supervisor in directing the team
Cultivate and model a collegial, professional, cooperative relationship with pharmacy staff, medical professionals, support, and administrative staff. You will:
Demonstrate effective, innovative problem-solving
Adapt to the challenges of a rapidly changing health care environment
Advance a patient-centric focus to treat illness with integrity, innovation, and commitment
Schedule: Varied shifts, depending on department needs, including weekends and holidays.
Hourly
Salary Range: $85.87 - $100.58 (Union represented, step based salary depending
on years of experience)
Bargaining Unit: HX - UPTE
Qualifications
We’re seeking a strong, independent clinical leader with current California Pharmacy licensure, a PharmD degree and:
Experience in ambulatory or outpatient pharmacy settings required
Strong communication, organizational, prioritizing, and follow-through skills
Knowledge of clinical, ambulatory and dispensing workflows
Requires intense and consistent concentration with attention to detail, along with speed and accuracy.
